The extent to which Hag himself was compromised in showing what he can really do, by the extent of the incompetence around him, shouldn’t be underestimated. He’s now genuinely set up for success - and if it doesn’t work, the base for whoever is next will be much better too.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑2 months agoDecent interview.dozer wrote: ↑2 months ago https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/s/vL3nyzA3e7
Ten hags interview is translated is in the comments. Thime interview was direct as fuck lol.
I didn't know that we've hired a new doctor and head of physiotherapy. Thank fucking god, after all the injuries last season.
We're seeing proper root and branch change. Nearly everyone is new. Tbf the old guard underperformed right across the board. Anybody appointed by a Glazer stooge aka Woodward and Arnold should be considered for the axe, cos those two clowns knew fuck all about football and expertise.
I can see the sense in keeping Hag in that there's some consistency with the manager at least. It's all gonna take some time to bed in. Imagine the equivalent happening at your work.
We’re finally acting like a proper club again. But even with that, it’ll be 2-3 years before we’re ready to challenge for a title.
Our football must pass the eye test regardless of league position. Even in Jose's and Ole's seasons where we finished 2nd, it was clear from watching the game that we weren't moving in the right direction to eventually win the league.JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑1 month agoThe extent to which Hag himself was compromised in showing what he can really do, by the extent of the incompetence around him, shouldn’t be underestimated. If we can at least dominate weaker teams, even if we don't get the results then that's a good indicator of progress. That was always missing post Fergie. Van Gaal had it but his football had other serious problems.
Good post dozer...keep it up...dozer wrote: ↑1 month agoOur football must pass the eye test regardless of league position. I'm googling to find out if he counts as an academy player. I know Kambwala did and Garnacho would do even though they were bought in but I'm not sure for Pellistri. Think he was named in our first team squad straight away?
If he does count as academy though, any money is good money. Obviously it'd be great to sell him for £30m but even £5-10m would help the books no end.
