You'd think that Brentford won't want to sell both Mbeumo and Wissa.
It's not like they seem particularly willing to sell just Mbeumo, though
We've just submitted a third bid of £65m + £5m add ons. Which funnily enough, is what Brentford were asking for since day 1. It's nice to that the club are still following tradition of being absolutely dog shite at negotiations.
That depends who you believe. From what I've read, they wanted us to match Cunha so we did with the second bid, then they changed their minds.

I know we're all very sensitive about transfers because we've been desperately shit at them, but the hyper analysis doesn't do us any favours. Other teams do the same with multiple rounds of talks and bids and it's not turned into a saga.

Let's hope Brentford accept this time and don't make up fake bids or put out some statement or move the goalposts. We might be crap at negotiating but they're coming out of this looking pretty pathetic IMO
Ineos haven't moved on. The previous regime didn't move on either and they've overpaid for players.

You're still being vague and dramatic as usual - but I don't blame you - not everyone has the mental capacity to look more closely.
:))

Naming players doesn't suddenly make you clever.

I think I finally get what you mean by me being vague. If I'm not specifically listing players I think are crap in every post, then I'm not doing it right.
Another deflection and yet your only arguments are to attack me by first calling me an idiot instead of addressing my points. Why? Let me stick to the argument.
I named players that barely featured for us and said that they don't need replacing i.e. losing them won't make us weaker.
The reason I named those players were because Sid named them stating that we needed to replace them or it's a net loss - my argument was that it wasn't.
I didn't precede my argument by calling him a moron and I gave very specific reasons as to why we wouldn't get weaker by not replacing them.
That's being specific, whether you guys agree with the argument or not.
Ok then.

I agree with Sid and disagree with you.

Now we can move on
Still vague, but consistent.

Yes, it's about time you shaped up, Felwin. We all love dozer's wind-up waffle so much that it would be of real benefit to the forum to have another one.
That's not enough. To be an other dozer, one must not initiate arguments by only attacking the poster, but must instead address the post. I think Felwin takes inspiration from the both of us. He resorts to attacking posters like you but unlike you he doesn't stop there. He tries to emulate me and tries to make an argument. He's terrible at both.

Fuck the Glazers wrote: 10 months ago City have signed a 1bn shirt deal with Puma. 100m a year. That on top of the Club World Cup money means they probably don't have to take as much coin from the UAE.

Chelsea also got 100 and odd mil for winning the CWC.

We're being left behind in a major way.
To put it into perspective, our shirt deal is worth 60m a year

This isn't really transfer related, but where are you sourcing that 60mill from?

Everything I've seen is that we have 90 per season, for 10 years, with a 10m hit this year as we missed out on Europe.

As shit as we have been, for a long time, we were still able to get a deal that's almost as good as what the most dominant team past 10 years were able to get.

Google's AI, and it sourced this article and others. Berrada & co extended it last year.

60m, and it covers the women and academy teams

Listening to Eds financial pod, there's been a noticeable decline in premium sponsors at United. It's one thing Ineos need to look at. We have some premium sponsors like Qualcomm but a lot more shite ones now apparently.

That's the shirt sponsorship deal. City's is state funded so not much point looking at that.
Liverpools with standard charted is reportably 50m a season, so our 60m doesn't look so bad( especially considering we have been so shit)

The shirt manufacturer deal with adidas is the 90m one vs city's 100m, again close.

Obviously this won't continue forever if we don't stop the decline, but our current deals are close/better than the current top performing clubs.

Ah of course, I've got the two mixed up.
