Cutting them out is final. If you can replace their goals, assists, blocks, passes etc with new players then it's not an issue. Not sure this is a good strategy tbh. Seems harsh on Malacia and Antony cos they haven't acted like cunts.
Cut them out now so that we can focus on our core group and they can worry about their next club. It's hardly a punishment.
This is not specific to people with disciplinary issues. Anyone who is not wanted is out of the squad so they won't be part of the training.
