Might be more of a nudge. I.e. 'unless you cunts sort this takeover out, this is what I'll have to work with'.

Not with the club, as far as I know.

Looks like ten hag is hinting to the board that he wants greenwood to stay.
This quote is from a while back so the tweet is misleading. Nothing new has developed since mid-March if I recall correctly. Pretty sure the original article that quote is from was around then.

Don’t think it’s a message to the board or anything like that, think he was just being classic Dutch and saying what he means. He was a great prospect, we all knew that. And unfortunately football is an industry that quickly forgets everything else when that’s the case.

It's a quote from an interview he did with Henry Winter a couple of days ago.

Can't find it though so I must be losing my marbles

Just read Chelsea expect £80m for Mount. If we end up paying that then nothing has changed whatsoever since Woodward.

That’s the problem when the transfer strategy is opportunistic.

They're expecting 80m euros or 68m GBP.
Anything over 40m pounds is way too much.

The Mount thing makes no sense, unless its very much on the cheap. Bit of an all rounder but not great. Would be a better squaddie than Fred or McTominay, but there are better deals to be had for much less than the 50m or 60m we’ll pay. I don’t understand it at all. Unless its a very, very expensive sweetener to get Rice, as they’re best mates.

Mount can run with the ball, unlike Eriksen.
He'll start if we sign him.
