I'm hoping for a win but I wouldn't be surprised if the arse fell out of the players since they secured CL football

This game will definitely say a lot about the players' attitudes. If we go lacklustre then it's not a good sign moving forwards.

Yeah, these last few games could do Carrick out of the job if he can't motivate them.

Have to say he really got them up for slapping Liverpool even though CL qualification was nearly confirmed. Hopefully it's the same today.

Utter horseshit. The underlying stats for xG for and against have us 8th in the league. But we're 3rd. So Carrick isn' doing too badly, is he?

Our summer window is the most important in living memory. Wage bill back Under control, revenues up. PSR headroom, and this squad needs serious work. We need 5 or 6 good signings in.
