Not good so far. Second best pretty much everywhere. Poor as a collective, too many of these aren’t quite up to it and the lack of quality in midfield is palpable. Its not quite as binary as this, but the bumbling presence of Maguire and McTominay pretty much set the tone for this sort of performance. They’re not alone though. Sancho is one I struggle to see enough in.

Until we have a much better squad we might have to deal with stuff like this when we have injuries. That “first 11” have gelled so well, whenever other players come in it takes them games and games to start to find each other. Ten Hag’s only big weakness so far. Maybe he’s used to his reserves being young, hungry Ajax lads who are 2 years away from a £50m move.

Yeah. When you look at our first 11, it looks like it only needs 2 or 3 quality signings. But the reality is, we need 7 or 8 to to get the squad where its needed (though one or two might come from the youth side)

Antony is coming on. I wouldn't take Weghorst off yet because he's only useless when we play counter attacking football. That will cease after their goal.
Sancho needs to go off first. Rashford has been poor too but he's our best bet to score.
