Just read that Sabitzer is suspended for this game, carried over from his yellow cards in the CL. What with Eriksen and McT injured, means we have Fred, Casemiro and Bruno up against Pedri, Gavi and de Jong.
Can't see us winning the midfield battle.

It'll be a really good test for us. They've picked up since dropping out of the CL, so this is as tough as it gets. Need to still be in the game for the 2nd leg.
They’re top of La Liga with a good record, so I assume they’re good, even if La Liga is not what it used to be.JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑1 year ago It'll be a really good test for us. It'll be interesting to see how Hag approaches this. He worked magic in the CL at Ajax.
Pretty much forced into playing on the counter. Casemiro will be up for it as a former Madridista. We won’t outpass them but we can certainly turn the midfield into a battle.
No place for Weghorst surely. We’ll need as much pace as possible to take advantage of space they will leave by playing their tiki taka. Worried about Sancho/Antony being too slow on the break but we don’t really have other options.
Looking forward to Martinez having Lewandowski in his pocket.

He’ll have to play Shaw at CB then. Can’t risk muff or slabhead.
They’ll run rings around us I fear.
