Could be wrong, but think this might be the 1st week since the turn of the year where the team has a full week between games.

Hopefully ten hag can make the extra time on the training pitch count, we need 3 points vs wolves.

If we lose the Chelsea game we'll play 10th place Fulham with just a couple of days rest. Pool play bottom of the league Southampton with a week's break.

I’m not taking anything for granted, but we’ve been very good at home this season. Only 8 goals conceded, more clean sheets than any other team. It’s unlikely we can’t scrape a point from two home games.

But the more the sale drags on, the bitterer a top 4 finish will taste. The Radcliffe bid looks shit from a footballing perspective. More of the same, at best. and if the Glazer parasites were going to take the Qatari bid, they would have already.

My thoughts exactly. Not 100% confident but hoping that Chelsea are on the beach with nothing to play for, looking forward to getting properly going with Poch in pre-season. We should be good enough for a point there and certainly against Fulham who also have nothing to play for.

If we fuck this up now then it'll be a disaster for the ages tbh. Wouldn't put it past some of these brain farters but as Casemiro showed on Saturday, we still have "moments" players capable of at least getting us through 2 home games.

We shouldn't forget that Fulham might have some extra incentive to beat us after the FA cup against them and Mitrovic's mental moment

I think what Dozer is trying to say is that he knew everything all along and that everyone else has no idea. What he knows and what everyone else knows changes between posts. - Felwin 31/10/2024

Forgot about that. Still prefer to play them as is instead of if they had to win.

With you on the last point bman - the longer it takes the less I think it will be Qatar. I also don't think the Ratcliffe deal would be all bad.

We should be OK, but this ain't done.

Chelsea have been a mess, but there's plenty of individual talent in their group. Our own performances haven't been convincing for a little while.

And Fulham gubbed us in the FA Cup before they imploded.

These are not as straight forward as league positions would suggest.

Not taking anything for granted. We should be more motivated than either of those teams though, they’ve nothing left to play for.

I hope you’re right. Nice haven’t even qualified for Europa since he bought them. And if he doesn’t have the money to buy United outright, I fear it will just mean more of the same.
