But it fucking hurts bad to lose to the dippers, any other team and I’d get over it but not those cunts.
I’m with you there. They shouldn’t have a better season than us now but they’ll love bringing us down a peg after it was looking like the tables had at least started to turn again.fat maradona wrote: ↑8 months ago But it fucking hurts bad to lose to the dippers, any other team and I’d get over it but not those cunts.

Nah, he rightly pointed at how unprofessional that team played yesterday and how unacceptable it was. He doesn't strike me as the type to blame bad performances on fatigue, the pitch, the weather or what they'd eaten pre-match. All of those things are factors but the bottom line is that each and every time those players pull on that shirt and step out to play for United, it always has to be with the correct attitude and application. That didn't happen yesterday.
We've been unbeatable for 20+ games and so for a proper ass kicking like yesterday, it's a freak incident. Unfortunately it came from our most bitter enemies and that's what hurts the most. I'm hoping the team shows the right attitude in the games to follow.
I think with our form leading up to the game and Liverpool's fairly poor form, our lads had already thought it was a formality. That we'd cut them to pieces and bag a first win at Anfield in years. That Liverpool came out aggressive and hungrier than us knocked us out of our stride, didn't allow us to settle. Also didn't help that players like Bruno reverted to petulance and play acting when what they should have been doing is grabbing the other players by the scruff of their necks and dragging them back into the game. Bruno in partcular pissed me off yesterday, he wasn't a captain yesterday if he thinks that is how he should be leading by example.

One thing that hasn't been covered much, Casemiro looks injured. He was limping after 10/15 minutes and not able to get across the pitch like usual. I imagine he stayed cos it's a big game and we need him. But it definitely had a big impact.
Could be a fatigue injury tbf. We may lose a few others if the players are fucked.

That's a really good point about Bruno. I love him but he's not a captain for the tough times. He's driven and seemingly never injured but if the game's going against us he defaults to playing the ref. Not always the wrong decision but looks bad when you just want someone to focus on the game.fat maradona wrote: ↑8 months ago Nah, he rightly pointed at how unprofessional that team played yesterday and how unacceptable it was. This isn't pleasant viewing but it makes a good point that Hags man for man defensive style out of possession leaves us vulnerable to getting hammered ala Bielsas Leeds
It might need tweaking
In the Dutch league no one is gonna batter you cos Ajax are the best team. But in the Prem top teams can turn you over.
