Do you reckon he'll last the season?
No, but not because he should be sacked. It'll be because its the easy and convenient way for the Glazers to create distraction and fudge the issue.

Not just because of today by any means, but right now I'd have De Zerbi over Hag. He's the real deal. But none of the conditions are right for success. We have a toxic culture and don't prioritise footballing success. We're dying as a club. We're done.
Yeah it'd be a shame for De Zerbi to come to this shit tip. He'd start getting random 80m celebrity players on huge contracts whilst working in this weird commercial driven culture were the emphasis is on getting the Glazers their dividends and the european super league not the european cup.

Pep has already locked in De Zerbi for the City job by the looks of it. He'll slot into the fluid, dynamic state-run project and continue their success.

Tbf why should I analyse ten hag, as if I'm an expert? The results aren't there, those are the facts.

We look shit even when we win. We're breaking records this season. We've never lost 3 games in the first 5.

There are no perceivable changes in our approach or squad quality.

He sounds delusional in post match interviews saying we deserved to win, the onana foul in the first game wasn't a penalty etc. Just mad.

What's the redeeming quality in ten hag for us to bother persisting with him?

Now even if I put my analysis hat on, what do I see? Good teams don't rely too much on individual patches of brilliance but that's apparently ten hags system. Rashford is the kind of player who wouldn't fit in any good managers team who's got a clear system working. He's too inept to do that. At united we just attack hoping on individuals to somehow get us a goal. More often we blunder possession and concede.

Isn't this what we see in ten hags system? Pass the ball up front, the players do what they want which is one ambitious pass or dribble or shot where we may get lucky with a couple?

When you look at Maguire and Sancho’s decisions over the summer, it only makes sene if they were told that Ten Hag would be sacked. The knives were out before the season started. Reminds me of Mourinho’s last summer, where it was obvious the club were not supporting him and that he wouldn’t see out the season.

Actually Ole’s ending had some similarities too, in that it was obvious just in the first couple of games that something was seriously wrong.

This club is just a toxic shit hole.

I don't think its that deep or conspiratorial. They were offered less elsewhere and said no.

Yeah, I think the opposite is true, as in the board and the Glazers (essentially the same thing) don't really care about the football side of things until it gets really bad, then they react.

Managers run their course. If the players know a manager is not going to win trophies, they don't buy into their tactics. We see countless examples of this - including Jose and Ole. Also relationships get strained, usually due to the former.

It doesn't seem like this is happening to Hag but there are cracks in his football. If he's being super authoritarian and not backing it up on the pitch, he'll lose respect.

I wouldn't rule out the treatment of Sancho as creating division in the club. Also Maguire. He's captain after all so may have some sway in the squad. And maybe the players are fucked off at the club backtracking on Greenwood who was a popular kid in the dressing room.

Or it could just be that Hag doesn't know how to tighten up midfield so we keep getting overrun.

We can have bad performances. But ten hags delusion in the post match interviews is what is worrying. He's the most deluded manager I think I've ever seen.

The Glazers have been shit but just blaming the Glazers for everything is just lazy by the fans.
