Let's not beat around the bush. The last 3 months of last season was the worst I've ever seen us play over a stretch. But I'm grateful we had Rangnick. Pissed off the right people and laid the ground for ETH. Gave him pretty much a blank slate.

Why should Rangnick get money. His 6 month contract was up and the consultancy role wasn't taken. He himself said that the new manager might decide to not accept his consultancy role.

Sid mentioned he didn't get a payout but there wasn't much scope anyway.
