The dressing room is out of control, and it's been this way for months

Rangnick can't get on top of it. Alright he's only here for 6 months, but he's going upstairs after that into a position of authority where he'll have the power to axe players. But they still don't respect him.

Things really are fucked
Where do you get this stuff from Sid???

He has since been at United for 3 months (Dec to Feb) and only into his 4th month. He was recruited to hold the fort between Dec and the end of the season and then move into an 'Advisor' role.

Ole was at United for 35 months, having been in management all the way through since leaving United as a reserves coach. During his nearly three years, he made nearly all of the players worse than when he took them on. Worse. In three fucking years.

Rangnick is NOT the man to improve this bunch of shite in a handful of months, that is the task for the next Manager. Rangnick is the man to improve our recruitment strategy and to put some sort of structure in place.

ffs
I don't wish to pick on Dozer here. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions after all.

I did reply to one of his posts a month or two ago, where I tried to explain why you can't pin everything on the manager. Not sure if you read this, Dozer?

We're all constantly banging on about the issues at the club. Stuff that's a culmination of years of incompetence.

I think it's fair to question the club's decision to hire an interim manager over a permanent replacement for Ole. The issue is that the whole club needs a restructure, and we've been talking about that for years. I thought Rangnick was brought in with that in mind. Dozer's posts seem to be more about Rangnick as an interim manager, losing sight of the bigger picture.

If the club really does list to him about how to change things, his time with the squad will be valuable experience. In the short term though, it's frustrating for supporters and the players that the club basically wrote off the season in September. And the Ole farce wasted three years of everyone's life.

Yeah, I think our activity in the summer will be the litmus test. I'm not massively confident the club will listen to him but let's wait and see.

:)) yeah right

Swamps, the rags are full of stories about our players bitching and whinging. Gary Neville said the players' agents and PR teams are briefing journos before games. Cavani decides when he plays. Looks like Ron does too. The players reportedly mock Ralf on the training pitch. They a nickname for him and one of his coaches too

It's one of the main reasons our club is in a state

My biggest and probably only criticism of Rangnick tbf is that he can't get on top of it. And yeah he's only here for 6 months, but then he's moving up to a position of power at the club where he'll have a big say over the future of players. As it stands now how can move upstairs when the players clearly don't respect him?

Who gives a fuck what our players think? Half of them are leaving the club anyway, and the other half we can't get rid of. It just goes to show how thick some of them are that it doesn't occur to them that they're embarrassing themselves in front of a guy who'll be in a position to affect their future. It's bad enough that they think they can choose who the manager is, you want to let them have a say over the rest of the club hierarchy too?

Ralf's going to be priceless to United because of the insight he's getting being interim manager. Very few of these players will be at the club a few seasons from now. Need to build a squad practically from scratch of young, hungry, proud, and professional players.

Yup, the ones who think they’re above the club should be booted out pronto.
I still suspect though that there’s a lot of media stirring behind it all.

Richard Arnold & the Glazers. When it comes to players v managers, the players always win and the manager gets sacked - cos the players are too expensive to replace.

Personally I think fuck the players, get rid. I'd even fuck Rashford off at this point. But that's not going to happen, not if there's enough of them against Rangnick. It's not my opinion this btw, it's just how football is.

Half the squad won't leave, they're too expensive to replace. And the shit but high profile ones like Rashford and Ron will probably be kept on because they're commercially important. I have zero faith Rangnick will be allowed to build a young, hungry, proud squad. It's not the Glazers' United.

Rangnick has to get on top of the squad asap if he's going to have a chance of being successful otherwise he won't be able to govern. Stop the briefing, stop the leaks cos that stuff is fucking disgraceful

Tbf, I remember a pundit, think it might have been Neville again basically saying there are players that have it in their contracts to play - so Rangnick can't exactly punish consistently shit performancees and briefing the media by dropping them. This is probably one of the reasons why he can't get on top of the chaos in the dressing room. They really are like naughty spoilt kids playing up for the supply teacher.
