My biggest and probably only criticism of Rangnick tbf is that he can't get on top of it. And yeah he's only here for 6 months, but then he's moving up to a position of power at the club where he'll have a big say over the future of players. As it stands now how can move upstairs when the players clearly don't respect him?
Who gives a fuck what our players think? Half of them are leaving the club anyway, and the other half we can't get rid of. It just goes to show how thick some of them are that it doesn't occur to them that they're embarrassing themselves in front of a guy who'll be in a position to affect their future. It's bad enough that they think they can choose who the manager is, you want to let them have a say over the rest of the club hierarchy too?
Ralf's going to be priceless to United because of the insight he's getting being interim manager. Very few of these players will be at the club a few seasons from now. Need to build a squad practically from scratch of young, hungry, proud, and professional players.
Richard Arnold & the Glazers. When it comes to players v managers, the players always win and the manager gets sacked - cos the players are too expensive to replace.
Personally I think fuck the players, get rid. I'd even fuck Rashford off at this point. But that's not going to happen, not if there's enough of them against Rangnick. It's not my opinion this btw, it's just how football is.
Half the squad won't leave, they're too expensive to replace. And the shit but high profile ones like Rashford and Ron will probably be kept on because they're commercially important. I have zero faith Rangnick will be allowed to build a young, hungry, proud squad. It's not the Glazers' United.
Rangnick has to get on top of the squad asap if he's going to have a chance of being successful otherwise he won't be able to govern. Stop the briefing, stop the leaks cos that stuff is fucking disgraceful
