Ole in?
For the time being, yeah. But when we play a team that press we're gonna struggle again.

Good result, and means we could well see ole stick with this 5 at the back now.

Much more solid and less leaky.

Great news for sancho!

Well either Ole or Nuno was gonna get sacked today. Looks like it’s Nuno.

Rashford doesn't look happy. He's playing without a smile and with an attitude. He probably just expects to be starting.

Liverpool and City dropping points means we're still up there despite being shite

He's probably realised he'd drop himself for cavani and Ronaldo. But tbf he's looked sharper this season, since his recovery. He also scored a good goal.

It’s just the Ole boom-and-bust cycle. We usually get it at least twice a season. Once we start getting battered because of our inability to play like a big club, we go back to a siege mentality and bus parking. He often plays three at the back in these situations.

It’s hard to get above 80 league points playing this way though. The other serious problem he has now, as you’ve pointed out, is that his transfer business has all been based on a totally different vision. He only has 3 CBs he trusts, so 3 at the back clearly isn’t plan A. Also we don’t really have any convincing wingbacks except Telles and Dalot, and he also plainly doesn’t trust either of those. Finally, if we’re only playing 3 forwards or attacking midfielders, he probably shouldn’t have added at least six of them to the squad over the past two seasons.

Yeah it’s squad mismanagement that’s probably going to cost Ole his job. All the leaks from the locker room this week showed that. I don’t know what he was thinking, making the squad bigger and bigger, with far too many players who actually care about their careers. We renewed Mata again ffs! :))

Is there a luckier manager in the league than Ole?

Just when he's under the slightest bit of pressure, City and Liverpool drop points, and we get the perfect opponent today.
