But when they left, it just turned into total amateur hour. It still amazes how incompetent the Glazers are as owners. They’re not businesspeople at all, they’ve no conception of running an organisation. They’re just absentee landlords, and the manage United like it was a shopping mall or apartment block. They’re used to just sitting there and the money comes in, but they’ve not the slightest clue how the money is made.
I agree. I'm just questioning if the previous owners were actually better or if they got lucky.
One thing I've learnt in life is that luck is 100% planning and preparation.

I started supporting United back in 1984 and I'll be honest, I didn't have a clue how the club was run but it wasn't successful that's for sure. Some credit does have to be given to Martin Edwards who had foresight to put in place the importance of commerciality at the club with the intent on investing it back into the club. We saw OT expanded, we saw players like Keano come to United for a british record etc. The Glazers have none of that foresight, they proved that when they ruined the Tampa Bay outfit they bought.

Why didn't the club get rid of him this summer?
I can't even imagine what they thought we'd get out of him this season, even if he'd trained well.
This should have been one of the easiest decisions to make.

Who the fuck is going to offer anything like what we paid, or give him the 300k per week he's getting here?

This club is fucked.

The club didn't even try to lose him though.
They tried to with maguire. But not him.
Maguire has been world class compared to Sancho.

The guardian believe he's training alone because he refused to apologise. So it looks like his career at United is probably over.

It's literally no loss cos he offers virtually nothing.

But then as mentioned in here, he's on 19m a year so shifting him is gonna be very hard. He could out last Hag.

Shit players will always outlast managers unless there is a transfer window for managers like they do for players.

Whoever advised him regarding that tweet must have known that it would end badly for him.

Maybe it was off his own back, but doubtful as all these players are socially managed online.

So he puts that tweet out there, what does he expect, to be streamlined straight back into the 1st 11? Going public will never work. Go to the managers office, hash it out, then do your talking on the training ground.

Genuinely think a lot of it is the hangers on some of these lads surround themselves with. If you’re sensitive and or easily manipulated, navigating all that is a profession in itself.

IMO it’s comparable to Pogba. Those sort of players almost need to be average somewhere in an average league. Not cut out to play at the top.

Imo Ole lost his job when he signed Sancho. I called it then. When managers blunder with transfers, it's over.
It was so clear to me that he's a useless cunt. It's not just the Dortmund jinx. He just looked crap.
Let's see if Swampsy's Sancho outlasts Ten Hag now. It'll be clear where the club is heading if that happens.
Sancho outlasting Ten Hag is more likely. If we couldn't shift Maguire who's been a poor signing and yet, one of our best signings post Fergie then how will we shift Sancho?
