There’s no way the club can take this blow. The incineration of squad value at United is something unbelievable. And the Glazers think the bids they received were too low? Are they connected to reality at all? Wtf is going on?
They're mismanaging their prized assets that create the product, drive commercials and add value to the club.

In terms of DV, you can't plan for it per se but you can learn a lot from character assessments before you buy, or as they develop. But we've famously fucked off character profiles. Remember Di Maria? Should never have been signed. Couldn't hack life in Manchester / England.

Sancho was entirely preventable. Don't sign the cunt. Don't make him a big earner thus very powerful.

Oh yeah, as head of transfers I wouldn't sign anyone above 200k pw wages. That's the ceiling and 100k+ itself will be very uncommon.
I may make exceptions but there really has to be a good reason.
I think we're paying Hojlund 80k? That should be the normal limit.

Any current player who's doing very well can be paid a lot more than 200k. I'd happily pay Bruno a top wage.

Amrabat injured with the Morocco squad :))

If we can't rely on Martinez's fitness yet and Shaw/Malacia/Mount stay injured, it means we could be facing Bayern with a back 4 of Bissaka/Lindelof/Evans/Dalot and Eriksen/Casemiro (i.e. no mobility) in CM. If Antony does end up "left out", Sancho is done and Hojlund still building fitness we could see a starting front 3 of Garnacho/Rashford/Martial.

Got a feeling this will be a long, miserable season. Injuries are partially down to luck but as it stands, we're going backwards.

You have to laugh, we had such high hopes this season :))

Many problems are coming home to roost, plus incompetence, plus a focus on profit and dividends

Another admittedly minor but funny problem; no one has been able to buy a Hojlund shirt at the megastore cos the shop has no øs symbols :))

Reminds me of last season when all the tills went down at Old Trafford so no one could buy booze or food

They couldn't run a brothel

I know I'm inferring a lot but that coupled with inviting that sex offender to the event the other month smacks of an awful work climate where nobody gives a flying fuck. The glazers are running it like one of their dying shopping malls, squeezing every last penny out of the operation before abandoning it.

The fack the hype machine around Hojlund's arrival was silky smooth shows exactly where their priorities lie. Shallow parasites.

Casemiro was dogshit yesterday. He's been poor all season. In fact he's been poor since he came back after last seasons suspension

If he's done then he's a very expensive problem. 60m for one good season is terrible business. But worse is the fact he'll be on about 3/400k a week. It's a lot of money in these FFP times for a player that doesn't contribute.

Wan-Bissaka is injured now. That makes 10 injuries plus Antony who is still not back from Brazil (and may never be).

14 goals conceded in 6 games. 10 in 3.

We need a rethink. Last season’s frustrating tight games were much better for confidence. Felt like we were a few steps away from having a good side. Now we feel miles off.
