That's exactly where I am. Really interested to see how the next few weeks pan out. I back Ten Hag to find a way but IMO it will probably involve Eriksen coming in for Mount or Bruno dropping into midfield next to Casemiro. Both far from ideal.

Willing to give Mount a run of 10-15 games though to find his feet. And he wouldn't be the firs (or last) player to be decent somewhere else and be shit for us. We have a great record of sucking the life out of players with our poor management.
Bruno and Rashford are the only players that gets us goals. I wouldn't change their positions to accommodate others.

Shaw injured and out for a few weeks minimum. Malacia out, Williams has gone on loan. So it's either Dalot at left back or. Chance for young Fernández.

It's interesting that our performances have been such a mess and the players look knackered already, but apparently the Opta stats show we've won possession in the opposition final third more than any other side in the league this season.

That doesn’t surprise me with the first two games. We were winning the ball and getting it to players in the final third but then mucking up the chances. Bruno, Garnacho, Rashford and Antony were all wasteful.

Similar to last season. Took Eriksen and Casemiro getting into the box for us to score. Desperately need Hojlund now. Still feels like we’re playing without a striker.

It's a change from last season. As Sid says, it's more like Klopp, but you need a really, really mobile and aggressive midfield. It won't work with Eriksen. Even Casemiro isn't mobile.

Varane out for up to 6 weeks with his latest injury. Lucky for us we didn't sell Maguire.

ffs, a whole summer to sort shit out and it doesn't seem like we have made any progress in putting a decent squad together.

Serious questions need to be asked about our preseason preparation. The players look slow and lacking in sharpness, and Shaw, Varane, Malacia all picking up muscular injuries in the first fortnight of the season. Its piss poor.

The last time we started a season strongly was under Mourinho. The club’s a joke, our preseason is fundamentally a money-spinner with athletic considerations a very low priority. Mourinho was experienced enough and powerful enough to get what he wanted out of preseason, but Ole and ETH have been lambs to slaughter.
