We need players to leave to fund another signing. One of the skills of a DoF is getting squad players at top clubs to fuck off. But Jones, Lingard, James etc all want to play for United, and it seems we have no other option but to let them.

Lindelhoof is obviously out on his arse when Varane starts. But I wouldn't be surprised if he hung around for years. You’re being a bit unfair Dozer. The lad is 21, moved to a much bigger club, huge expectations, huge transfer fee etc etc and this was his 3rd appearance. Let’s cast opinion after a few more appearances. Listening to his interviews, he doesn’t come across as arrogant, bolshy, cocky or even confident. He sounds like a young kid that’s suddenly been thrust into the spotlight. Hopefully he’ll get the right level of support from within the dressing room and mgmt and the press stay off his back.
