Saudi are after buying another club. It will be interesting to see who. It will no doubt be a polticial move to give them a stake in another major league whilst also strengthening Newcastle's hand.

I honestly don't think we can be successful in the future without being part of a multi club organisation. The ability to get around FFP but also buy and store talent are major advantages.

I agree Sid. I think Qatar will walk away from us, or be rejected, and then turn elsewhere. Probably Spurs. Which will leave us further behind.

The whole games cooked.

This multi club shit should be banned by UEFA.

UEFA chief Ceferin said on the Overlap that the horse has bolted so they're going to adapt the rules to allow it. What he failed to say was UEFA let the horse bolt in the first place by doing nothing.

The UAE are using the other 12 clubs they own under the City Group banner to buy up the most promising talent around the world - particularly from Brazil where they're really dominant.

If the players turn out to be good, they'll move to City for a reduced fee. If they're shite, they'll let other clubs have them for a big fee.

Doping is much more than just paying the biggest fees for the best players, it's now this huge multi club operation

You're definitely never gonna see another Leicester, but you're probably not gonna see a club like United or Arsenal win the major pots in the future either

It sounds like they fucked up the account reporting a bit so got a slap on the wrist

Have to say it's good to see a punishment dished out in for a minor breach that I believe we gained no advantage from, cos it gives me hope they'll come down hard on the major cheats like City, PSG etc.

Easy example to make though Sid. City have the funds and nous to swerve it, and the can will be kicked so far down the road, we'll be owned by the next generation of Glazers. Cos its pretty clear now that the cunts are going fucking nowhere.

The price of football podcast has done a pod with the person at United that organises travel to and from games. It's really insightful. But also quite funny cos the Glazer penny pinching is evident throughout. Like the players fly on private jets but everyone else (sometimes up to 170 people) often fly in the cheap seats on commercial flights lol.

She complains throughout about the cost of travel which is to be expected when you've been told to save money. You could be forgiven for thinking she manages Blackpool FCs finances not Uniteds - a club that turns over 600m a year.

The season starts in 3 weeks, who's actually surprised we are going into with the Glazers still at the helm!

They are going nowhere anytime soon, bet the fuckers are still holding out for the pipe dream of the esl.

That seems fine to me, especially for that many people. Most away games are only going to be 1-3 hrs from Manchester.. Is that different to other big clubs?

The club was fucked when Malcolm Glazer split control and ownership between his kids. That arrangement always leads to paralysis.

It’s not just selling the club. I’m sure six-way ownership affects things in the day to day running of the club, especially transfers. There’s probably a toxic farcical family meeting like Succession every time we consider a big signing ffs.
