Imagine getting a job that you should never have got, and being that shit and that expensive that you can force them to pay you to leave
Exactly. Astonishing.
Shame he wasn't told to sling his hook over that incident in Greece.

Tbf this sounds like a healthy social democracy. I'm all for it. Burden should always be on the employer.

If the move goes tits up, it’ll get toxic towards him. Which wouldn’t be good for anyone. For his own sake, he needs to move on and if he does, I think he’d get best wishes from most United fans.

I agree in principle, but not when it comes to someone being paid £10M a year to play football (not including sponsorships and other avenues of income he surely has). He should thank his lucky stars and do one.

I honestly don't think the amount of money matters. The club is at fault. Obviously I want him to go too and it would do his career and image a big favour but if he wants to take the club to the cleaners then I won't hold it against him. I know it's something that irks a lot of fans but it's not our money is it? They've made that clear to us.

The (unreliable) guardian reporting the deal is off cos West Ham have given up

Hopefully just a negotiating tactic

If Maguire wants £7 Million to leave OT, why wouldn’t we accept the £30 million offered by West Ham, pay the twat off, and trouser the difference?
