He's not even a good back up cos he doesn't have the core basics for a modern team. He's pretty much redundant.
Does he not fancy Rome? He was Mourniho's man after all and would suit a team that defend like cunts and have no ambition. After embracing greek civilisation, surely Rome is appealing to a culture vulture of his ilk.

"In addition, after overcoming a number of injury issues last term, Maguire feels he will play a full part in United's season."
From the bbc article, surely has to be taking the piss ffs, or he's just surrounded himself with a group of yes men, and sycophants blowing smoke up his arse about how good he is.

Yeah but if you remember Jose was hell bent on Maguire the summer before he got sacked. The idea he wasn't backed in the market was largely cos he didn't get Slabhead. Many fans wanted him as well, or for Jose to at least get his man.fat maradona wrote: ↑1 year agoOle signed himFuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 year ago He's not even a good back up cos he doesn't have the core basics for a modern team. You can see why cos he's built for an old fashioned defensive team. It's why he works for England. So for me he should join Jose at Roma. Never gonna happen though, he's on a Woodward wage.
No way Roma would pay his wages. Plus, it’s probably too close to Albania for Maguire’s liking.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑1 year ago He's not even a good back up cos he doesn't have the core basics for a modern team. He's pretty much redundant.

I'd keep maguire unless we get a decent fee. He's been a good professional and it's not like he's in our starting 11. We need players who are available to play and proper pros. Then we have the likes Bailly and Martial who are never available. Its martial who needs to go for lesser fees than maguire. At least maguire had some decent seasons in his first couple of years. Martial has always been crap and almost never available. Our other defenders have also been worse.
