Can't see him staying for 2 reasons.

1. The emphasis Hag places on unity and team spirit. Retaining him would be divisive, and given the effort he's made in shaping the culture, he won't risk it.

2. The pressure we'll be under from sponsors.

He’ll have plenty of this to put up with. Guilty or not, it’ll be hard for a 21 year old to deal with.

Difficult one for all concerned.
Objectively, charges were dropped and the police apparently thought the complainant would be an unreliable witness, so there is a case to be put for playing him.
He'll surly get hammered initially by opposition fans but would it be any worse than Paul Gascoigne?

Well, he’s young enough that if he rejoins the squad, I’ll hope for genuine personal growth. If there’s truth to the original accusations, he’s young enough that in theory he can still grow up a decent person. I don’t demand that athletes be saints, but nobody wants to cheeer on a scumbag. Not that we’ll really know either way, unless there’s some sort of scandal down the road. Moving forward though, the club should have a clear policy of zero tolerance for this sort of thing, for everyone.

The difficulty for me is that it never went to court, so the facts were never objectively determined. I’m not trying to defend him, but trial by media seems a wholly unsatisfactory way to decide the kid‘s future.

The problem is, how much do we actually know? The recordings sound awful, but is there any additional context, anything else that’s part of the story? We just don’t know.

I don't think he'll play for us this season.
Hag would have cried for including him in the preseason if that was the decision. So my guess is he'll be loaned out.

When is the decision out?

Yeah, maybe a loan spell abroad would be the best short term solution.

The article states "before start of Premier League season". The League starts on 11th August. Take your pick.
