Pretty sure that the CPS can still bring a case even if the victim doesn't wish to press charges.

I think that's what we saw with the Caroline Flack case, if memory serves. She was charged with assault over an incident with her boyfriend.

I don’t mean this to come across wrong, but its shit PR for the club too. Could even impact sponsor revenue if the club fuck up how they deal with it. Might even make the Glazers think twice about whether its worth it. That said, all they give a fuck about is the cash. They’ve no morals anyroad.

I Googled that and yeah I think you're right. Maybe she or someone she knows released the video to ruin his career in case he gets away with it in court like rich people do all the time. This way at least he faces some kind of justice. Fair play IMO
