But I guess that's wrong. If he's still a good / great player, he'll bang in the goals, that will dominate the headlines, the abuse will be history and he'll be worth a few quid.
I wouldn't even rule him out re-joining United, especially given how short we are up front. Maybe that's why we didn't go for a loan deal for a CF.
