Random but ridiculous stat:
In his entire career, Bruno has missed only 4 games due to illness/injury for club and country.
And the pundits question his attitude.

Didn't realise this, but Bruno turns 30 in September. I think if a big offer comes in during the summer, we'd take it.
Because our transfer record is so good right?JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑9 months ago Didn't realise this, but Bruno turns 30 in September. I think if a big offer comes in during the summer, we'd take it.
You reckon we'd spend the money well on replacements?
What are the odds we'll sign someone who's injury prone or assaults his partner? Or a Mount?
They'd be young though. And don't forget we bought casemiro when he was 30 or 31. And people wanted us to buy Kane who's probably Bruno's age or older.
Ffs Dözer, this is the exact point I make every time you make one of your lists of positions we need to sign for or players we need to sell. Glad you’ve finally come round to it just in time for us seemingly looking like we might start getting signings right.dozer wrote: ↑9 months agoBecause our transfer record is so good right?JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑9 months ago Didn't realise this, but Bruno turns 30 in September. Fuck me mate. There's a difference between getting rid of shit players and getting rid of our best player every fucking season since he's signed for us.Felwin wrote: ↑9 months agoFfs Dözer, this is the exact point I make every time you make one of your lists of positions we need to sign for or players we need to sell. The point is, there is a risk in buying players in that there is a high probability that they'll be crap. It's true for everyone but we have an extra special track record of crap signings.
This is why we don't get rid of our good players to replace them with new ones.
This obviously doesn't mean we don't get rid of the crap! A high probability of signing players who'll be bad is much better than keeping our existing players who're guaranteed to be shit. Ffs why do i need to explain this.
All I’ve been saying the last few weeks is I see our future without Bruno. Don’t think he can play for a top team that wants to keep the ball. Not boring tiki taka, just basic keeping hold of possession, plying simple balls. Mainoo is already better than Bruno at that.
He’s been fantastic for us, no doubt. Really suited Oleball and suits the way Hag has got us playing at the moment which is basically Oleball Mk. 2. But for United to make that jump to the elite level, you can’t have a 10 like him twatting the ball forward at every opportunity. In the 90s in Italy/Spain he would’ve been a genius but the game is so different now. You can’t win trophies without controlling games and you can’t control games without the ball… even Simeone and Mourinho know that. Even the shithouse managers want the ball against most opponents.

Our historic recruitment performance has been shambolic, but that's not the point. Not least because we're clearly overhauling our executive team, but improving our approach in the market is as much about selling well, as it is buying well.dozer wrote: ↑9 months agoBecause our transfer record is so good right?JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑9 months ago Didn't realise this, but Bruno turns 30 in September.
