I don't think any United fan was pro paying him massive wages, we all wanted him to sign a new deal but on sensible money. If he hadn't of signed a new deal and walked on a free, fans like yourself would have been the first to criticise the club for not doing anything about it. Giving him a new deal was because you want to tie him down and then have options rather than letting a homegrown player walk for free, especially after his best season for us.

As usual there’s nothing really new to say about Rashford. We know he’s not elite, blows hot and cold. If someone is stupid enough to pay £100m, we should take it like you say. If he accepts a massive pay cut and is willing to be one of a few options, I’d still keep him because he’s an academy graduate. That shouldn’t be a controversial opinion.
