is rashford gonna make it then
I thought the Rashford issue was handled well.
At least from what's been disclosed, he got too drunk and he got punished. He's also accepted the punishment. I don't think Rashford has had a history of disciplinary issues.
He should be thrown out because he's shit though.

I know single clips can be taken out of context, but this does look really poor. If a serious offer comes in for Rashford from PSG, I think there's a real decision to make.

I'm starting to think he's lost his head a bit. Dunno how much the Sancho situation has to do with it. Sure I've read multiple times that they're good mates.
There's a certain petulence to him that's not been there before, being late for training, crashing his car, out on the piss, seems more and more miffed when playing. All gone a bit strange in the last 12 months.
I think that clip does him a disservice though. Obviously we want him flying in and winning the ball but his entire game is about finding space to murder players with his pace on the counter so once Barkley is "out of his zone", he's been taught to do that. I thought his pressing in general on Sunday was a damn sight better than Bruno who is busy but never, ever wins the ball. A good clip for comparison would be a reel of all of Bruno's failed pressing attempts for perspective. Obvs Rashford doesn't look arsed and that doesn't help him, but like I said, you can detect a certain "fuck you lot" attitude that wasn't there before.

We don't need clips to know he's crap.JoelfuckingGlazer wrote: ↑9 months ago I know single clips can be taken out of context, but this does look really poor. If a serious offer comes in for Rashford from PSG, I think there's a real decision to make.

For one, how tired was he at that point? He sprints a lot. Had he just sprinted before that event? If so I can understand why he didn't put too much pressure.
He's shit. That's clear. It doesn't matter if he'd done better in that clip.

It’s when the fame gets to their heads, when they think they’ve made it and when they don’t get treated like gods that they start going a bit strange.

Maybe it's a mental health thing; a come down from being demonized by the media and government which will have been brutal. Maybe he was mates with Sancho and is pissed off. Maybe he feels the club is not good enough for him.
Whatever's it is, it's gone on for ages and needs sorting.
He's playing for a club that needs to sell and reduce the wage bill. He's a big earner and has huge resale value, so he's sailing close to the wind. 150m for an academy product (zero book value in terms of FFP) could transform the 11.
