Good news I reckon. Takes that baggage with him too.
Yeah, glad he's gone given the allegations of cheating. Hopefully he's not set up a doping system at United that would write off this era.
I thought he left almost a year ago. I'm pretty certain I saw this news.
He stepped back from the role he was brought in todo a while back, but he was still on board. Not really sure what he was doing on the board, probably not much. But this fully removes him from United.

Well we played worse when he was around, so we're probably fine :))

I saw that news last night and wasn't sure what to make of it.

I can't see Joel and Avram leaving.

They're sounding out a market. First shot in the negotiating with INEOS for next year. Their ideal outcome has always been a bidding war and I fully expect another shady fake Jassim-style thing to pop up around the time the current deal with INEOS is up (next Feb I think).

He sounds very competent but not my cup of tea. He seemed to squirm a bit when Mitten asked him if hiring Amorim was a mistake. I get that it's all political and plenty of people are saying Amorim did some good work behind the scenes but Berrada has to own that mistake. It's not just hiring Amorim, it's the overruling and subsequent firing of Ashworth to get it done.

I liked Berrada in this interview. He came across as someone who tried to be honest. He obviously couldn't reveal everything which is why he decided to focus on Amorim's positives and did not mention the negatives. That seemed like appropriate behaviour. What's wrong with that?
The interviewer was shit though. He seemed like he was just reading questions off a list (which the club probably insisted on) and it didn't seem like a conversation.
I don't recall him asking anything about Ashworth.
