Looks like a powerful, direct forward that can finish
A lot of those goals are scored from deep, so he'd be good on the counterattack but also in a high pressing team that wins the ball back and races forward
Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III

All the top coaches these days talk about signing “profiles” so if this is the first signing for the new transfer committee then it looks like they want a big man with tricky feet. Can’t help thinking of Berbatov and Cantona with some of them feints and flicks in that video. The Prem will be much more intense than those opponents though.
Distinct lack of goals as well so do we reckon Rashford and Garnacho have to score them all? Maybe two up front even on occasion with Hojlund joining Zirkzee?
I’d honestly be worried with a Bayern reject (same as with De Lift a bit) but Bayern have been wobbling for a few years now in the background. Hopefully Zirkzee is one that slipped through the cracks and not a dud for the top level.

Our interest Branthwaite is legit.
I'm really not sure about the cunt, or haggling with a club that's cannily looking for a huge wodge to shore up their losses and meet FFP / PSR.
He's their most valuable asset so they're gonna be out for every last penny.
Under those circumstances we've always crumbled and paid way over the odds. Will it be different now under Ineos, Ashworth, Berrada etc.

Fats, is that a mistype or a clever dig at our prince of cunts…?fat maradona wrote: ↑5 months agotbf Brian is forgettable. And he'll always be a cunt though.
It simply has to be different. I'm all for using Branthwaite to set down a marker. He might be a traditional "United" signing, poaching a top British/Irish prospect from a "smaller" club in the division. But if they want more than 40m they can get to fuck. We shouldn't be helping this cabal of state run/financially punished clubs to clear funds. Villa, Everton, Abu Dhabi, Forest, Saudi, Chelsea, fuck the lot of them.Fuck the Glazers wrote: ↑5 months ago Our interest Branthwaite is legit.

These transfer targets smack of the old regime. They've nearly all got a Dutch / Hag connection or in Branthwaite's case are a big English name.
I wouldn't be surprised if nothing had changed in that regard yet as Ineos are still making major changes behind the scenes.
Ruud, Hake and the new goalkeeping coach arrived today Old Trafford. Ashworth, Berrada and that other cunt are brand new in post and are probably working on a new plan right now.
And above all else, the physical infrastructure takes priority aka Old Trafford. It's a huge burden in terms of time, effort and money. But in terms of turning the club around, it's essential cos it will increase our overall revenue and give us more room within FFP.
So for now I don't think much will change in terms of transfers. It'll be one of the last things to go. For now they just need to work on getting the squad cost down and be aware that any shit deals, aka 80m for Branthwaite on 250k a year, will fuck us in the long run.

Reports are that he only wants Real in which case we won't get him. I'd also be a bit concerned about how committed he would be if he was forced to come to United. But putting all that aside, he'd be a good signing given his potential

I don't know wtf Ineos are doing but the signs don't look good at all.
But if the rumours are true then we're paying the release clause for the dutch striker. So there's no great negotiation there. No one else seems interested in this great deal for a top talent either.
We've bid 50m for Yoro, that's three times what Real bid for him. For a 18 year old centre back with a year left in his contract. That's overpaying, by a lot. He doesn't even want to join us. He's French btw.
We've bid 45m? for Branthwaithe. That's not been accepted so there's room for more. That's already a lot, again for a player that did not get picked for the England squad where the defence is the weak link. Maguire, if fit, would have started in the first 11. Will Branthwaithe start over him, here?
We've bid 50m for Delight. He's flopped at 2 big clubs and both tried to get rid of him. That bid could rise because Bayern want more I think. That's again overpaying by a lot. We're not doing things the difficult way and identifying cheaper talent.
