The briefings have starter. Lots of media and twitter stuff today - Hag has lost the dressing room, players questioning his signings and tactics, too many physical training sessions, he lacks warmth. Fucking despise these players.
A loss to Chelsea, which I expect, and another drubbing by the scousers which feels nailed on, and he'll be done.
Players have had it to easy for too long , the media is saying he has lost 50% of the dressing room , then i say get rid of that 50% .... because probably its the same 50% who have questioned the previous managers ......
No doubt though that it will be Ten Haag gone though as you say , then we are back in the same cycle....
Too many players have been prominent in the continued cycle of failure. Rashford, Martial, McTominay, Shaw, Maguire, Dalot, Lindelof. Varane and Casemiro are problems in terms of age, as is Eriksen. Even Bruno has to come into the mix. Mount missed a ton of games last season when Chelsea were a mess, same here. Martinez is fine and hopefully his injury will be sorted properly.
Onana, Martinez, Malacia, Amad, Pellestri, Hannibal, Mainoo, Hojlund, Garnacho. Some as first teamers, some as squaddies, but that's the core of the squad to build around. On the basis they're still relatively new, Mount, Antony should be kept for now. Eriksen is low maintenance and as a squaddie, is fine. Shaw and Bruno are not priority exits but should be on the last chance saloon notice. The priority exits are Martial, Sancho, Van De Beek, Lindelof, Varane and I'm starting to think Rashford too - but he probably deserves a shot after the 'reset'. McTominay ain't good enough, neither is Amrabat or Maguire, but you have to do it in stages.
Still, there are probably 10 who need to leave over the next 2-3 windows and the same to bring in. But those numbers have been the same for 10 years. No window moves us forward over the longer term.
