Our injury record is beyond bad luck. Surely there's something inherently wrong with our training methods?

It was similar when Klopp went to Liverpool. Took a while to weed out the ones who weren't capable and for the others to adjust. Think our problem is that we have far too many who aren't physically up for the task. Shaw, Varane, Casemiro, Erisken - that's 4 potnetial first teamers that can't hack it. If Hojlund is another one, fuck me. Have to hope it's something or nothing and the one in the summer was a one off.

Plausible explanation for why the team seem to lack any oomph and the number of injuries we've had this season so far. Last season must have been a tiring one given the number of games we'd played and that Hag picked the same 11 most games and I bet those players would have needed some recuperation over the summer. In Hag's defence, the type of football he wants us playing demands very high levels of effort over long periods of the game, and so fitness is paramount to success.

We could lose Amrabat, Onana, Amad, Hannibal and AWB to AFCON for 4 weeks.

I actually assumed AWB had played a game or two for England because he's been in a couple of squads... interesting move for him if he decided to choose the DRC. He'd play every game surely. And at 25, surely his England ship has sailed now.

Yeah he's never getting in ahead of trippier/walker/James or taa, even if taa is now a mf.

If James stays fit, the position is his for the longer term.

Can someone help me out here? I don't know if it's detachment bias, but I watch plenty of non United PL games and without fail, every side I watch plays with greater intensity and urgency, than we do. Is it just me? And it's not just under Hag, it's been the case for years.
