Rugby World Cup is the way to go.

Here's one for you Sid:

Mind, I take exception to the last sentence wrt Rwanda. Totally different kettle of fish; the Guardian need to get off their woke reaction to anything to do with Rwanda. The reality is much more nuanced than that.

That's mint. For a big clubs' fans to hold their principles and pressure the top bollocks to reject financial dealings with states etc is class. It's how the relationship has to be. You can't just accept.

We have no mechanism for this, we're at the whims of those fucking idiots. We're disempowered, and that results in people taking more extreme measures like storming Old Trafford and occupying it.

Yeah I'd love some kind of accountability like that. I'm sure it's not perfect and that Bayern supporters have a lot to complain about, and that the businessmen have been whittling away at the supporters' power. But United desperately needs something like that. As it stands, it seems extremely likely to me that United's current incompetent owners are running the club into the ground and that it will be picked up pretty soon by the likes of Qatar, and that will be that, the end of the club.

Sky editor reckons Ratcliffe is considering buying a minority stake to get the deal moving.

It would mean the Glazers are still in charge. I mean, it's fucking shit, but as has been mentioned on here, rather Ratcliffe buy a stake than private equity.
