Yeah it seems that way. Hag said he wants United to be the quickest turnaround team in europe - so basically win possession back quickly and attack their goal as fast as possible. That's not the possession based football he played at Ajax, or what he learned under Pep. Maybe he doesn't think that will work in the Prem, and he might be right tbf. But he's having to learn too, and so far this season I think tactically he's got it wrong.
We try and go man for man out of possession but it's easy for the opposition to manipulate us and create space in behind which then has them running at Casemiro and the back 4. Spurs knew how to stretch and isolate our players, and how to pull us to one side of the pitch so they could switch it to the other. And tbf Spurs have quality and Ange is a good, modern manager. But Wolves did this too, and they're shite. That's the worry for me.
