Yeah, I know. And Germany look poor. Lots of injuries at the back and over reliant on Popp for goals.

I haven't been able to watch any of the tournament at all, unfortunately.

Been keeping up with highlights and had a couple of games on while working. Been really enjoying it to be honest. Feels much less pretentious than the men’s game. I know it shouldn’t be judged in comparison but when you’re used to watching high level men’s football, it’s refreshing how many teams play with bravery and flair. Not as cynical at all.

Loved watching Japan and Spain so far. Top technicians both of them. England seem to be becoming a real force but I think the Aussies will have wind behind them on home soil and the winner of the current game (Sweden vs. USA) will probably be the favourite. USA dominating so far.

Interesting last 8 and England in with a decent chance. Colombia should be doable but Nigeria was a battle so no guarantees. Either opponent in the Semi will be tough, France look very good and the Aussies are being carried by their spirits.

Really hard to call. I could see a Spain-France final but also Japan-Australia.

I wonder if the FA would consider Wiegman for the men's England job. She'll do a better job than Southgate.

I'd love it if the Lionesses did it but have to admit the spaniards have been top notch and deserve it just as much.
