Ahh lads, has anyone seen those promotional videos he did? Fucking embarassing.

Imagine Becks walking around food markets and hanging out with bedouins in cloth tents, all in the latest catwalk trends and while claiming "there's nothing I love more than *insert Qatari tradition*". Revolting stuff tbf.

Good spot. He's being paid in the region of 10m to push Qatar. From what I gather it's not just for the world cup, it's a longer standing deal.

Edit - just read on the Athletic it's 12m a year deal for 3 years with options to extend. He has a good relationship with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

I wonder if part of his job role is to land United for them. If so, money well spent.
I read somewhere that his total package is 150 million. Can pretty much expect him then to front up a Qatari bid.

Saw those too. To be honest, there would be nothing funnier than Becks declaring how much he loves hanging around fish markets if it wasn't so sickening

No team has looked amazing, which I suppose is what you get holding the tournament mid-season. France has probably looked the best. Imagine how good they would have been with Benzema, Kante, Nkunku, and Pogba. They probably still have enough to win it, but Brazil, Spain, England, and Holland have a chance for sure.

More PR? But at least they're not taking any undeserved money out of the club.

The more money left in the club, the healthier the balance sheet, the higher the sales price.

Yep, this is my take as well, if they take money out, its just going to lower the total value of the club.

They can either get their dividend now, or get it when the sale goes go, and have a minor pr boost now, where they can say, see we're not so bad.

They did that recently, I think after the european super league fall out, and then took double the next time - so they effectively just delayed the payment.

We're running out of money, the Glazers are shitting their pants that they'll have to put some of their own money back in. That's why they want to sell.
