I don't think Ronaldo is an excellent passer of the ball at all. Playing deeper would be a car crash. He's still got prowess as a finisher, but what he needs is to play in a side that dominates the ball, highly technical, high pressing system that he could be a passenger in. He'd be fine for a year at City for example. He wouldn't need to be involved in the game, he'd just finish chances and he'd get 3 or 4 great ones every game.

it's taken them a good long while to bring this one to a charge.

i expect he'll get a ban which, to my mind, wouldn't be the worst situation for the team except for our now even more congested fixture list

Was anyone really "thrilled" that the club would make money on shirt sales? It's only ever a good deal for Ronaldo, we all knew that. The hope was that he still had enough to offer at 36 but he just doesn't.

Good to see that cunt staying true to form and walking off after the display from the team before the end of the game, hopefully EtH throws the book at him with luck he is gone in January even if the club has to lose money to be rid of him.

To be honest, aside from having to pay the cunt, he is the prime example of someone who needs to be kept in contract but pointedly not played. His ego really deserves an ignominious end and it's really a shame to have to say or think that.

Really looks like he won’t be anywhere near the “big games” as ETH wants pace up front. Sure he’ll be pissed off and say he would’ve taken the chances Rashford didn’t but no chance he’s even getting on the end of a lot of them with how slow he’s become.

I reckon it’s premeditated as well, the walking off towards the end. He wants to be seen. Needs the fans near the tunnel waving at him. The cameras showing it. To remind people he exists. All a bit sad really.
