Best signing since since Ronnie? He's world class and is having a Ronnie like impact

Did Rooney have the same impact as Bruno when he joined the team? Not for me. You'd have to compare stats though. Fernandes is creating or scoring more than a goal a game.
We signed Rooney, vidic, evra etc.
Bruno has made a bigger impact but it's been 12 months! We can't say he's been the best signing.

His impact has been Cantonaesque, he has lifted those around him to play better and he is our Saviour in most games. He does give the ball away far too much but perhaps that goes hand-in-hand with the good things he does.dozer wrote: ↑3 years agoWe signed Rooney, vidic, evra etc.

As you say though Dozer, he will have to sustain this over 2-3 years to be a contender.
He has obviously been class, but not sure you can compare to previous signings like Rooney or Ronaldo.
Maybe Cantona as he did raise the level of the whole team, was a catalyst and won us the title.
Rooney and Ronaldo were teenagers when signed, and both came into an established championship winning team, so harder to compare/for them to noticeably improve an already class team.
I don't think an 18 year old or 19 year old rooney/cr7 would have had the impact bruno has had in his debut year, for the reasons above!

Bruno's standards are that of a winner. It's what you expect from a top player. Shows you what we've been missing. Hopefully his attitude can drag the performances of other players up.
