Re: Euros 2024

Was anyone on here honestly surprised that England started looking like a proper footballing team once Mainoo started getting picked? Credit where it's due to Southgate, switching to that four man midfield and getting all the composed ball-players into the same side has made England capable of beati...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III

Zirkee is a done deal. 40m ish euros. Time to sell some cunts. Maguire, Sancho, Rashford - we need dosh I don't know anything about Zirkee, but if it means we ship out some of the crap as a result then I'm all in favour. From the little I know he's tall, powerful, good on the counter but possibly a...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III

I don't know wtf Ineos are doing but the signs don't look good at all. But if the rumours are true then we're paying the release clause for the dutch striker. So there's no great negotiation there. No one else seems interested in this great deal for a top talent either. We've bid 50m for Yoro, that...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III

Our interest Branthwaite is legit. I'm really not sure about the cunt, or haggling with a club that's cannily looking for a huge wodge to shore up their losses and meet FFP / PSR. He's their most valuable asset so they're gonna be out for every last penny. Under those circumstances we've always cru...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III

All the top coaches these days talk about signing “profiles” so if this is the first signing for the new transfer committee then it looks like they want a big man with tricky feet. Can’t help thinking of Berbatov and Cantona with some of them feints and flicks in that video. The Prem will be much mo...

Re: Euros 2024

Turkey have been great tbf. Along with Georgia, Romania, Albania and Austria, they’ve played with freedom in attack. When you compare them to Slovenia and Slovakia who just wanted to stink out the place, no contest.

Holland will have too much for them though.

Re: You lot should be ashamed. No Mainoo topic? 🙄

Sorry I thought we only made threads on here for players we wanted to moan about.

Agree that he’ll be class. We simply can’t fuck this one up. The amount of nearly greats we’ve had in recent years. If he fails - or worse - becomes a great somewhere else, we’re done as a club that nurtures talent.

Re: Ratcliffe, INEOS and the future

I think we still need to be really patient. Next season could still be shit. Don't think Ten Hag will last long under the new structure. He's clearly got the job by default.

Hope they do. Their problem is that Turkey will score and if they get through, Romania and Holland are attacking sides too. Definitely the more exciting side of the draw.
