Re: Erik Ten Hag
The briefings have starter. Lots of media and twitter stuff today - Hag has lost the dressing room, players questioning his signings and tactics, too many physical training sessions, he lacks warmth. Fucking despise these players. A loss to Chelsea, which I expect, and another drubbing by the scous...

Re: Assessing our squad
Yeah, Gaal's reign was the one to build on. A couple of quality forward players to open teams, and a more modern coach with similar principles (such as a De Zerbi type) is what we should have gone with. But as ever, there was no plan so we went to Jose.

Re: Assessing our squad
Watching Nev go from pro Glazer to feeling as we do; detached from our own club is quite a thing. He admits he doesn't want to cover the games anymore. https://youtu.be/V1_J5QvRkDc?feature=shared He makes a good point about Gaal too, that he is the only manager post Fergie that has managed to imple...

Re: Will the Glazers sell?
Premier League agrees record £6.7bn domestic TV rights deal https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67619756 Maybe the Glazers were waiting to see the growth in the TV deals before selling? It's one theory. The deal is an increase on the previous 5bn but largely thanks to extra 200 games being shown. ...

Re: Assessing our squad
It's curtains for Hag, isn't it. He's pretty much a dead man walking at this point. And still no news on the Ratcliffe front, so no new ceo, DoF or manager coming any time soon. It could be the case that we get a new manager before we get Ratcliffe's man - if the deal ever happens, and if Ratcliffe...

Re: Assessing our squad
I maintain a view that 4 or 5 of the right signings, with the right manager and a cultural reset at the club, would be transformative. I'll use Newcastle again as an example- Schar, Lascelles, Joelinton, Longstaff, Almiron, Wilson, were all there when they were fighting to stay up. We need quality,...
